Thematic and methodological axes

It is important to identify directions which seem to be most promising. Therefore, the Neuropole implementation Steering Committee identified four priority thematic axes (AT). This choice relies on the combination of two factors:

1) the importance of the existing forces and the actual place of the region in the world competition

2) the importance of the underlining stakes for economy, health and society in general.

In order to bring to a successful conclusion research in these priority thematic axes, important technical means, platforms, technological developments are necessary and must, as much as possible, be organized, coordinated and used in common. The Steering Committee therefore identified four methodological priority axes (AM).

These thematic and methodological axes give guideline to Neuropole in order to structure its organization and work. In fact, it is necessary to underline that multiples interactions and crosschecking exist between thematic axes together with multiple convergences between these axes and the methodological axes.
