Goal and activities
To strengthen the synergy, competitiveness and visibility of the Île-de-France laboratories in Neuroscience.
Principal activities :
* Coordinating the offers of the associated universities to organize an advanced international doctoral training program
* Facilitating collaborative efforts and innovative research of the participating laboratories
* Attracting outstanding scientists to the Île-de-France region and facilitating their setting up in Paris area
* Organizing joint activities, including seminars, conferences, summer schools, workshops, symposia, etc.
Scientific program
To better understand the brain and treat its disorders, ENP 's research is organized around three complementary approaches:
By contributing to the elucidation of the pathological mechanisms responsible for major physical or mental handicaps, the ENP's aims at facilitating the development of new therapies, in partnership with industrial partners.
This scientific program has major implications in terms of knowledge, public health (neurology and psychiatry), technological innovation, and education.
