Testimonial from invited scientist Pierre Gilles Henry
Pierre-Gilles Henry, PhD. Invited Scientist Program.
Ecole des Neurosciences de Paris March-July 2014
Host laboratories: Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle epiniere (ICM) and CEA/MIRCen. Fontenay-Aux-Roses
"Working in different labs was the chance to get out of my familiar scientific environment, which is a really good thing for a scientist! It is an opportunity to approach science with new eyes. I got to meet and work with new people, exchange ideas, get different perspectives, and set up new collaborations or reinforce existing one. Host laboratories benefited for the same reasons: I brought my own expertise in Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) and high-field MR, as well as my own perspective on scientific issues. (...)
The work done in both labs is expected to result in submission of joint publications later this year.(...)
In summary, I greatly enjoyed working at ICM and at MIRCen for 4 months. I think it was highly beneficial both for me and for the host laboratories, and I am very grateful for the financial support from ENP that made it possible."
