The creation of our team results from the development of an activity at the interface between physics and the sciences of living systems, initiated at the Physics Department of Ens by Gérard Weisbuch and Gérard Toulouse at the beginning of the 80's.
With a physicist approach we study complex adaptive (living, social or artificial) systems. We apply concepts and methods borrowed from:
